Are you allowed to combine dipped beam headlights and fog

After removing my battery yesterday my Ranger's headlights low beam does not work. Parking lights, brights etc are working fine. This is obviously not a fuse issue as the low beam and high beam runs of the same fuse Are there some reset I can perform? 2014 Ford Ranger XLS 4x4

Still nothing, checked the fuses under the bonnet More electrical problems . Both dipped headlights have suddenly stopped working. Which is strange. All other lights fine. It does seem to be a bit of a coincidence that the lights have stopped working after the car has been worked on,but I'm bu#gered if I can see a link between the dipped beam and the aircon.

I think it would be odd for 9 Jun 2017 Hello everyone, new member here. So my elderly parents have a 2010 Accent and their lowbeam headlights quit working last week. I've used 25 Oct 2015 My dipped beam headlights aren't working. The high beams, side lights and fog lights work fine.

If adjusting the switch doesn’t work, you may have a blown fuse or bad lightbulb. I get a low beam headlamp fault on the console, but when I replaced the bulb, it still doesn't work. The car is 6 months old and there's no condensation inside the housing. The fuses check out.

Re: Dipped lights not working and dash lights playing up Post by Stesaw » 09 Nov 2020, 00:27 I know this is a very daft question, but have you checked your bulbs in the headlights, or even the headlight connections on the outside of the van to make sure they are OK? The fuses in the box under the bonnet do control a part of the dipped beam circuit,but the same fuses run many other things and as it's only the dipped beam not working it's unlikely to be them. Light switch wear / damage – the switch to the left of the steering column has three positions – off / on (side lights / Dim Dip / Dipped Beam). High / Low Beam is controlled by the multi-function stalk on the same side but higher up the column which also functions as the Direction Indicator and High Beam FLASH switch.
